Manually erecting and closing the flaps on a carton is a laborious and slow process making it quite an expensive operation.
To speed this manual process up we have the Starbox which is pneumatically driven and will close all 4 base flaps when placing the erected carton on top it. The carton can now be slid over a base taping unit on its way to be packed. Once packed it can be moved to go under a top taping unit to be sealed and dispatched.
For larger runs of assembling cartons we have the automatic Superbox which will erect cartons from the flat form, close the base flaps, tape these and then pass it onto the conveyor belt for filling.
